Mac OS X Public Beta may be in hand, but be prepared to wait some time before you can print to a desktop USB printer. The current release lets you print to network printers and USB PostScript devices, but to produce output on inexpensive non-PostScript printers--the vast majority sold these days--you'll need print drivers that may not be available until early next year.

PenguinPPC has an article on in Linux, specfically the Epson Stylus 700 printer. They also link several other resources that may help you setup your printer. Also, check out iMacLinux Guides and Howtos for howtos on printing to the Lexmark 310, and several older serial printer port printers (like Apple Stylewriter and the Epson 600). When I get a chance, I'll also add a guide (soon) about USB Inkjets (which in general are quite similar--at least to Linux), and maybe even one on my ImageWriter II (if I can get it to work ;).

Samsung has released a for some of their printers. It supports all major PPC Linux distributions and works for the ML-1210, ML-1220M, ML-1250, ML-1450, ML-1650, ML-3350 and ML-7300 printers.
